She told me,
"I ran the dishwasher for you," and I ignored her because turning the knob to "on" doesn't constitute being helpful then she said it again and I realized that she truly thought she was contributing something important so I told her well, I cleaned the toilets, and she got a little huffy and asked me if this was a contest or something and I said yes and guess what? I win.

Thanks for stopping by my blog, and thanks for the comment.
I like the random feel of the slice of life quote. Interesting peek at your world.
Is that a preview of where my life is leading?
I wonder if someone can teach my 9 month old how to stop a dripping faucet... otherwise that is the next thing on my to-do list.
Here from NaComLeavMo. Love the quote. Love the helping - tell her to make Shake 'n' Bake too.
A mom after my own heart! :)

My dh says things like i turned on the dishwasher, and my response is always thanks, I never see it as a competition, he's just telling me so I know that there are clean dishes, just like i tell him if i did laundry, so he knows that there are clean boxers coming his way sometime soon..
thanks for commenting. Congrats on the long term exercise. I have never stuck with any exercise regime for that long.
ok, I Laughed Out Loud at this!
Yes, you win!
Bless her heart, she really thought she was doing some heavy labor!
